The system shall meet the following functional and performance requirements:
The function of pyrolisis reactor is to convert the feed material (plastic waste) into liquid fuel (pyrolysis oil), gas (syngas), and char (carbon black) using high temperatures through the cooling process;
The reactor furnace shall be made with additional layer of insulation such as ceramic fiber, rockwool or refractory material to prevent excess heat from escaping in the reactor.
Pyrolysis reactor:
Feed material capacity: 1 – 5 kg, or better;
Feed inlet shall be a quick open structure for easy opening, with reliable sealing that can withstand temperature minimum 700 °C;
The feed inlet shall have safety interlocks for safety operation;
Temperature range: 500 – 800 ºC, with adjustable low heating rate in the range of 3 – 10 °C/minute;
The System shall be equipped with temperature display for furnace temperature viewing;
Interior material: Stainless steel, or titanium, nickel, zirconium, hastelloy, etc, that withstand high temperature. The material shall be wear-resistant and acid-resistant;
Heating type: Electric heating;
Optional auxiliary heating system to heat and circulate heat transfer fluid to the jacket of the reactor;
The System shall have a gas inlet for nitrogen purging to maintain inert condition;
Condensation system;
The condenser shall be water jacketed or coiled pipe type;
The cooling media shall be water and the System shall have the required component for cooling water circulation such as cooling water inlet/outlet, chiller, pump, piping etc;
The System shall be equipped with collection tank, discharge valve and buffer tank (if applicable);
Control device:
2.2.3.1. The controller shall be equipped with automatic or programmed PID or PLC
The System shall have display and control of temperature, pressure, level, flow, valve open/close, and other relevant display and control;
Gas and residue:
2.2.4.1. The System shall be equipped with collection tank, discharge valve, piping and buffer tank (if applicable);
The System shall have gas treatment system such as gas scrubber unit to remove impurities, particulates, and emissions, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations;
